Ghaziabad is an important residential and commercial market in Delhi-NCR, particularly for buyers looking at established localities such as Indirapuram, Vaishali and Kaushambi. Its proximity to Delhi, existing residential neighbourhoods and access to major roads make these areas relevant to both homebuyers and property investors. However, property prices and development potential vary considerably depending on the exact location and land use.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has announced a fresh auction of 80 properties, including residential plots, commercial properties and institutional land across Ghaziabad. Under Auction Notice 888/2026, applications can be submitted until 13 October 2026, while the auction is scheduled for 16 October 2026.
What types of properties are available?
The 80 properties are divided into three broad categories.
Important: Only 26 properties are designated as residential plots. The other properties have different permitted uses, eligibility requirements and allotment conditions.
Where are the 26 residential plots located?
All 26 residential plots are in Indirapuram, divided between four locations.
How much money is required to participate?
Buyers must deposit an (EMD) for the property they want to bid on.
The published EMD is approximately 10% of the respective property’s minimum reserve price.
Where are the commercial plots located?
Besides residential plots, GDA is auctioning commercial properties in several developed and developing areas of Ghaziabad.
Institutional plots: Schools, hospital and old-age homes
The auction also includes properties intended for educational, medical and community facilities.
Of particular interest are two plots designated for old-age-home development.
