Rajasthan is an important industrial and manufacturing destination, with established industrial areas across Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Neemrana, Jodhpur, Ajmer and several other cities. The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) develops industrial areas and provides land for manufacturing, commercial and supporting activities. For businesses planning expansion, RIICO’s government-managed industrial areas offer an opportunity to acquire land through a regulated allotment process, subject to permitted land use and development conditions.
RIICO has announced its October 2026 property e-auction, covering an advertised inventory of 570 property offerings across Rajasthan. These comprise 532 industrial and non-industrial plots and 38 separate rental-property offerings, including land and built-up industrial facilities.
Applications opened on 28 September 2026, with the last dates for submitting applications and Earnest Money Deposits (EMD) falling on 13 and 14 October 2026, depending on the selected property.
The exact EMD deadline and bidding period vary according to the selected property. Applicants must check the individual plot listing.
What types of properties is RIICO offering?
The October offering covers different property categories intended for industrial development, businesses, investors and institutional users.
Other non-industrial categories include land designated for logistics, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, kiosks, showrooms and petrol pumps.
Important: The 30 residential/group-housing properties are land parcels, not 30 constructed houses or apartments. Some residential plots within RIICO industrial areas may also be reserved for specified applicants.
Where are the RIICO properties located?
The e-auction covers properties across multiple RIICO industrial areas administered by regional offices throughout Rajasthan.
Major locations include:
RIICO plot prices: Official examples
RIICO’s online property listings specify a starting bid rate per square metre rather than one common price for all plots.
The following examples illustrate how prices differ by location and permitted use.
The reserve values above are calculated from the plot areas and starting rates published in RIICO’s auction portal.
These are starting values, not guaranteed selling prices. Competitive bidding can increase the final price, and applicable charges will be additional.

RIICO has divided the auction into two bidding groups.
How much EMD is required to participate?
Applicants must pay a non-refundable participation fee of ₹1,000 plus applicable GST per plot, together with the prescribed EMD.
Under RIICO’s standard e-auction rules, the EMD is calculated as 5% of the plot’s reserve value or ₹25,000, whichever is higher, unless the particular offering specifies otherwise.
For example, a plot with a starting reserve value of ₹60 lakh would generally require an EMD of ₹3 lakh.
For an unsuccessful bidder, the EMD is refundable without interest according to RIICO’s rules and prescribed refund process.
What happens after winning the auction?
Submitting the highest bid does not automatically guarantee allotment. RIICO must approve the successful bid before issuing the offer letter.
The general payment requirements are:
Eligible allottees may also have access to prescribed instalment or financing arrangements.
The successful bid amount is not necessarily the final acquisition cost. Applicable GST, stamp duty, registration, lease-related payments and other charges must be considered separately.
Failure to make required payments within the prescribed period may result in cancellation and forfeiture under RIICO’s rules.
Separate RIICO rental-property offering
Alongside the land e-auction, RIICO has advertised 38 rental-property opportunities under a separate programme.
These facilities are intended for eligible businesses and operators seeking land or built-up premises without purchasing a conventional long-term land allotment.
The rental programme is different from the land e-auction. Properties are offered on a licence basis under their respective rental conditions.
The rental application/EMD deadlines are also listed as 13 and 14 October 2026, up to 6 PM, depending on the property.
