The Moradabad Development Authority (MDA) has opened a fresh e-auction for 53 commercial, mixed-use and institutional properties in the newly developed Govindpuram Housing Scheme Phase-1 on Delhi Road, Moradabad.
The auctions will be conducted in three batches on 20, 21 and 22 August 2026. As of 17 August 2026, registration for the first batch closes tonight at 11:59 PM, while the remaining two batches remain open until 18 and 19 August respectively.
One clarification is important:
These 53 properties are not residential plots. Govindpuram Phase-1 separately contains 477 residential plots in its approved layout. The current August auction is primarily for the commercial and social infrastructure of the township.
What is being auctioned in Govindpuram?
The 53 auction properties cover four broad categories:

What are the reserve prices?
The auction uses different reserve rates depending on land use:
Commercial: ₹91,308 per sq m
Mixed-use: ₹79,895 per sq m
Educational: ₹45,654 per sq m.
This translates into very different entry prices.

The 53 properties have been divided into three auction batches.

Batch 1 contains kiosks, mixed-use plots and smaller commercial plots. Batch 2 includes larger commercial plots, nursery-school sites and 1,000 sq m mixed-use plots. Batch 3 contains the largest commercial, educational and community properties.
The bigger story: Govindpuram has 477 residential plots
The current auction becomes more interesting when viewed as part of the complete Govindpuram township.
