Padma Lok Awas Yojana Prayagraj is a new housing project being developed by the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) in Kasari-Masari, Prayagraj. The project is registered with UP RERA under the registration number UPRERAPRJ197232/08/2026. RERA-linked project data shows the RERA received date as 01 August 2026 and the RERA completion date as 16 July 2031.
14-floor group housing in Kasari-Masari
According to Amar Ujala’s 23 August 2026 report, PDA’s proposed modern group-housing project in Chakia’s Kasari-Masari area has received RERA approval. The report says the project will have a 14-floor group-housing building with 602 two-BHK flats. The reported total project area is 9,811.35 sq m.
The same report says each floor will have 43 flats, and each flat will include a drawing room, two bedrooms, two toilets, one balcony and one kitchen.
Flat size and project configuration
Amar Ujala reported the flat-level area details as 37.41 sq m carpet area, 47.13 sq m built-up area, 3.67 sq m balcony area and 56.45 sq m super built-up area.
RERA-linked project data shows 602 total units, 1 block, 14 floors, and a 2BHK unit carpet area of 424 sq ft / 39.41 sq m.
Only 2BHK flats after public preference survey
Amar Ujala’s 22 July 2026 report says PDA conducted a three-day public preference survey from 12 to 15 July. People were asked whether they preferred 1BHK, 2BHK or 3BHK flats. More than 1,000 people participated in the survey, and most preferred 2BHK flats. Based on this, PDA decided to build only 2BHK flats in the project.
Price indication and project cost
In the July survey-stage report, PDA had indicated three estimated flat prices: ₹20 lakh for 1BHK, ₹25 lakh for 2BHK and ₹50 lakh for 3BHK. Since the project later moved to only 2BHK flats, the ₹25 lakh figure was the earlier survey-stage indication for the selected flat type.
Amar Ujala’s later RERA approval report mentioned an estimated per-flat cost of ₹28 lakh and a total project cost of around ₹150 crore.
Atiq Ahmed-linked land reference
Amar Ujala reported that the land where the project is proposed was earlier under the occupation of Atiq Ahmed and his associates. The report also states that PDA proposed modern group housing on the freed land.
Location connectivity
As per Amar Ujala, the project location is about 4.50 km from the High Court, 4 km from Prayagraj Junction, 6 km from Civil Lines Bus Adda, 8 km from the airport, and 2.5 km from Subedarganj Railway Station.
Reported project features
The reported project features include solar panels, scientific rainwater drainage, planned parking, traffic management, rainwater harvesting, shear wall technology, a 350 KLD sewage treatment plant, shaded pedestrian-friendly paths, disabled-friendly campus, community building, commercial complex and swimming pool.
RERA-linked development works also mention plot demarcation, boundary wall, 6-metre-wide RCC pavement around the building, footpaths, water supply and other project works.
PDA Board Meeting approval
Hindustan’s 5 September 2026 report says PDA’s 143rd board meeting approved several proposals related to city development and civic facilities. Among the important decisions, the report mentions construction and allotment of around 602 two-BHK homes in Padma Lok Awas Yojana, Kasari-Masari.
