The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) Kishangarh Housing Scheme 2026 offers 90 proposed independent residential houses with individual plots in Kishangarh, Ajmer district, Rajasthan. The estimated prices start at ₹40.06 lakh, making this scheme an option for buyers interested in a house with its own land rather than an apartment in a multistorey building.
Officially known as the Special Registration Scheme 2026 – Kishangarh Khoda Ganesh Road, Phase IV, Phase I, the project offers houses under three categories: MIG-A, MIG-B and HIG.
The application process began on 17 October 2026, and the last date for registration is 16 November 2026. Allotment will take place through a lottery.
The official 31-page registration booklet provides complete details about house prices, plot sizes, eligibility, reservation, registration deposits, instalments, refunds and construction specifications.
Where is the Kishangarh Housing Scheme located?
The scheme is situated on Khoda Ganesh Road in Kishangarh, Ajmer district.
Kishangarh is an important commercial centre known for its marble and granite industry.
According to the official RHB booklet, approximate distances from the project are:

How many houses are available under the Kishangarh scheme?
According to Table 1 on page 4 of the official booklet, RHB proposes to construct 90 independent houses.
These prices are estimates provided by RHB. The booklet explains that the authority follows a no-profit, no-loss principle and that the final house cost determined at allotment will be applicable.
The proposed number of houses may also change according to project requirements.
What is the difference between plot area and constructed area?
One of the main attractions of this scheme is that buyers will receive an independent house constructed on a residential plot.
However, the plot area and constructed area are different.
For example, an MIG-A buyer will receive a house on a 120 sq m plot, while the proposed constructed area is approximately 73 sq m.
The remaining land within the plot is not necessarily available for unrestricted additional construction. Any changes or extensions must comply with the approved building plan and applicable development rules.
The booklet also includes separate house designs and ground-floor plans for MIG-A, MIG-B and HIG categories on PDF pages 26–28.
These drawings show the proposed building arrangement, open spaces and plot dimensions.
How much is the registration amount for Kishangarh Housing Scheme 2026?
The official booklet provides the complete registration payment for each category.
The application fee is ₹354, but applicants must also deposit the required registration amount and processing charges.
The processing fee is non-refundable according to the booklet.
Special registration-deposit concessions:
Applicants claiming these concessions must provide the required supporting certificates. Applicable fees and taxes should be checked in the payment demand.
What are the cash-down and hire-purchase options?
RHB provides two methods of allotment and payment.
Under the cash-down method, the buyer follows the prescribed full-payment arrangement.
Under the hire-purchase method, the buyer makes payments according to the applicable instalment and allotment conditions.
The booklet specifically states that a house allotted under the cash-down method cannot later be converted to hire-purchase.
However, it provides a conditional facility for changing a hire-purchase allotment to cash-down, provided the applicant follows the prescribed procedure within six months of the allotment letter.
What is the instalment schedule for Kishangarh houses?
The official booklet contains a three-instalment pre-allotment payment schedule.
These are the pre-allotment amounts reproduced from Table 4 of the booklet. They do not represent the entire house purchase price.
The payment deadlines are:
Applicable GST is separately payable on the demanded instalments.
The booklet specifies 12% annual interest or penalty on delayed instalments.
After allotment, the remaining amount payable will be communicated through RHB’s official demand or allotment letter.
Is reservation available for government employees and defence personnel?
Yes. The Kishangarh registration booklet includes reservation for government employees, defence personnel and several other eligible categories.
The booklet also provides internal reservation provisions for persons with disabilities and eligible single women within specified categories.
