The Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) has opened an e-auction for 33 vacant MIG residential plots in its existing Vasudev Vihar developed housing plot scheme at Jagannath Prasad, Bhubaneswar.
This is not a newly launched 33-plot project. Vasudev Vihar is an existing OSHB plotted development, and the present September 2026 offer covers only the vacant MIG plots currently available for auction.
Applications opened on 11 September 2026 and will close on 31 October 2026 at 5 PM. The e-auction is scheduled for 25 November 2026 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
OSHB describes Vasudev Vihar as a completed developed housing-plot scheme. Intending bidders are advised to inspect the plots before participating in the auction.
33 plots: size and reserve-price breakup
As many as 28 of the 33 plots are approximately 1,200 sq ft, making that the main size category in this auction.

Reserve price, EMD and actual auction cost
The lowest reserve price in the current inventory is ₹37.385 lakh for an approximately 1,200 sq ft plot.
Based on the listed area and reserve value, this works out to roughly ₹3,115 per sq ft. This is only a calculated figure. OSHB itself publishes plot-wise reserve prices rather than quoting one common per-square-foot selling rate.
The ₹3.75 lakh EMD is fixed for all 33 plots, including both the approximately 1,200 sq ft plots and the larger Plot No. 29.
Applicants should also verify stamp duty, registration charges, payment timelines and other applicable costs from the latest auction and allotment documents before calculating the total acquisition cost.
204 plots or 206 plots?
Buyers researching Vasudev Vihar may notice a difference between older and current records.
For the current auction, the 204-plot figure appearing in the latest OSHB material is the more relevant current reference.
However, this difference does not change the current auction inventory: 33 vacant MIG plots are being offered.
Where is Vasudev Vihar located?
Vasudev Vihar is located at Jagannath Prasad in Bhubaneswar.
According to the original OSHB project brochure, the scheme was described as being around a 10-minute drive from Kalinga Studio Square, near the proposed ESI Hospital site and along the road towards Chandaka.
The older brochure also referred to a proposed 100-ft CDP road through the scheme area.
These descriptions come from earlier project material, so buyers should independently verify the current access road, surrounding development, plot boundaries and physical condition before bidding.
Application and auction schedule
The current OSHB page states that intending applicants need to apply online through the OSHB website. Registration on the e-auction portal is to be completed according to the process communicated by OSHB.
The important point is that 31 October is the application deadline, while 25 November is the auction date. Interested buyers should therefore complete the required application, documentation and EMD formalities before the auction.
Why the older price should not be used for the 2026 auction?
An earlier OSHB brochure had shown a standard MIG price of around ₹23.80 lakh for certain 1,200 sq ft plots.
The current auction lists approximately 1,200 sq ft vacant MIG plots at a reserve price of ₹37.385 lakh.
